Who we are
Taurus Rising Press LLC is a California publishing company. It publishes the works of author Valentina Vice and operates valentinavice.com and the Valentina Vice mailing list (“TRP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Notice explains how information is handled when you visit the site, contact us, or subscribe to the Valentina Vice newsletter.

Information we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:
- Newsletter information: Your email address, subscription status, consent and confirmation records, signup source, and related delivery information.
- Newsletter activity: Flodesk may process information about delivery, bounces, opens, clicks, device or browser information, IP address, and approximate location so it can deliver messages, maintain the list, prevent abuse, and report newsletter performance.
- Messages you send us: Information you include when you email or otherwise contact us.
- Technical information: Hostinger and other service providers may automatically process IP address, browser and device details, timestamps, requested pages, and security or server logs needed to deliver, maintain, and protect the site.
We do not collect payment-card information through this website. Purchases made through a retailer or other third-party service are handled by that service under its own terms and privacy policy.
How we use information
We use information to:
- operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website;
- send book news, release information, promotions, and other newsletter content you requested;
- manage subscriptions, confirmations, bounces, and unsubscribe requests;
- understand newsletter delivery and engagement;

We may disclose information to service providers that process it for us, including Hostinger for website hosting, delivery, security, and technical logs, and Flodesk for signup forms, consent records, mailing-list management, newsletter delivery, and related reporting.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, investigate fraud or misuse, protect rights or safety, or complete a business reorganization or transfer subject to appropriate protections.
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or use it to target ads across unrelated websites.
Third-party websites and services linked from this site—such as booksellers and social platforms—control their own data practices. Their privacy policies apply when you visit or use them.
Retention
We generally keep newsletter information while you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information, we may retain a limited suppression record so we can honor the request and avoid emailing you again. Messages, consent records, security logs, and other records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, legal compliance, dispute prevention, security, and enforcement of agreements. Service providers may maintain backups or technical logs according to their own retention schedules and our agreements with them.
Cookies, tracking, and browser signals
The site does not intentionally use advertising cookies, cross-site behavioral advertising, or a separately installed analytics platform. Hostinger and Flodesk may use cookies, pixels, local storage, or similar technologies that are necessary to host the site, operate forms, protect against abuse, remember technical settings, deliver email, or report email performance.
We do not authorize third parties to collect personal information through this site over time and across unrelated websites for targeted advertising. Because we do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, browser “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control signals do not currently change the site’s behavior. If our practices change, we will update this notice and provide any legally required controls.
Your choices and privacy requests
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the link in any newsletter. You may also email hello@valentinavice.com to ask to access, correct, or delete information we hold about you, or to withdraw consent. We may need to verify a request before completing it, and certain information may be retained where permitted or required by law.
Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional rights, including rights to know, access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent, or appeal a decision. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. We will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law.
International processing
Our company and website operations are based in the United States. Service providers may process information in the United States or other countries. Those countries may have different privacy laws from the place where you live. Where required, we and our providers use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Children and adult-oriented content
The site promotes romance fiction intended for adult readers. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
